This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)

Sup Titus Andronicus-loving buddy!
I catch so much flack for liking that play. Apparently it's Shakespeare's worst according to lit majors.

Yeah, but Shakespeare's worst is everyone else's best
Personally, I think his worst is The Comedy of Errors.

Ack! That reminds me of the seventies (Or was it sixties) version of Romeo and Juliet, you know the one, with the sex scene and the big ass and nipple visions.

From what I heard, it was Shakespeare himself that claimed that R&J was his worse work.
I have also heard that many famous artists in various fields complain that what they consider their best work gets ignored while stuff they tossed together ends up becoming popular which annoys them no end.

I'm sure it must be frustating for those persons. lGo nagai also complained about that, he never got why Devilman in which he inverted lot of time and effort was eclipsed by Mazinger which he wrote only for relieving tensions. It may not be the brightest example but the first I could remember xp

Yay! Let's wallow in excessive violence together.
Seriously, I love all that hand chopping and hewing limbs and rape. Ah, Rome. Makes me wanna throw a toga party.
(How come I've never seen fanart of Touga in toga? Isn't this kinda obvious to the point of obligatory?)
