This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)
There are some random little things that I love for no real reason. Example, I like the feeling of putting on deodorant after a shower, and I love the word 'clear.' I like the noise Mario's shoes make on Mario 64, and when my ferret licks my arm.... Things like that. Do you have any? :3

Like Amelie, I love running my hand through beans, beads, and the like. I also love it when people touch and stroke my hair--it gives me these wonderful shivers and makes me feel tingly (although I rarely do it, I like going to the salon just to have my hair touched).

Towel fresh and fluffy from laundry + face. In fact, wearing clothing warm from the dryer. I love it.

I like the smell of gasoline.
I also like when the milk is sweet after I eat frosted flakes.

Waking up an hour before your alarm goes off to warm, mild sunlight, feeling perfectly rested. Prized for its rarity.

My favorite pro wrestler, Edge, was forced to stop wrestling because of legitimate neck injuries, which gave me a sad
But now he's a semi-regular on a show on SyFy Network called Haven, which gave me a happy
Whenever my DVR records pro wrestling, they always include an extra hour after the show (in case a show goes three hours long instead of two) as a buffer. So when I watch SmackDown on SyFy (Please don't ask me why pro wrestling is on SyFy unless you want to hear the whole long story...), it records an hour after SmackDown as well. What's on after SmackDown? HAVEN

I love the way my cats' noses feel. They're so soft!
Also when animals nudge me when they want me to keep petting them.
Ohh and I loooove smelling gingerbread cookies *o* And gingerbread everything.
...And I never really thought about it, but I also like sleeping in the dark! I just...don't sleep when it's dark. I miss it, but my sleep schedule is kind of messed up since not having school. o well

Picking out all the cookie dough chunks in ice cream so I can eat them when I'm done with the actual ice cream. Don't know why, but I do that nowadays.
Holding and cuddling a purring cat. Except mine doesn't like being cuddled. I still do it every so often anyway.
Anything to do with giving and receiving affection from cats, really.

Normally I like stepping in sand, then pressing my feet in and burying them and stuff. But man I was on vacation two months ago in Louisiana to visit family, and my uncle took us to a beach. I had my shoes on when I first crossed the sand, took em off when I got in the water, but it was amazingly dirty so I just sat and dug around for cool shells. Anyway, I ended up having to walk back to our little shelter-thing to eat, and stupid me decided that the sand shouldn't be terribly hot and the grass isn't far anyway. Well, the sand was very hot, so I ran across and was happy when I got to the grass, but not for long because it was all prickly and had those sticky things in it ;_____; My feet were burning and felt like they were being poked and cut and I just thought I had Rose Bride foot. I don't know if I just have tender feet from being a lazy and indoorsy person or what, because my cousin walked through it with no problem.... I dunno why I just told that whole random story, but.. -__-;
It wasn't something I just loved!
Anyway, I love when I pour a bunch of fresh litter for my ferrets and my girl starts digging in it and sticking her face in it. So cute :3
The feeling of getting in bed after just changing out the sheets! My bed gets a little messy in between sheet-changings, and I'm really too lazy to fix it because it's annoying, so having the blankets all nice and neat feels awesome

Using the absolute slightest injury as an excuse to apply a band-aid. And any kind of kit in general; first-aid, survival, how-to's, make-up. I adore and collect kits.

Seems like whenever we have band-aids at my house, everyone uses them for the tiniest things, then when I'm actually bleeding or something we don't have any left x_x
I loooove stretching after sleeping. It feels so good!
