In the Rose Garden / Somebody please explain Livejournal roleplaying to me before I shoot m

The title does not need to be finished - needless to say, I'm frustrated! I want to join a Livejournal RP - ANY RP, I don't really care. I just want to get back into roleplaying and I've heard that LJ is the best place to go.

So could someone explain the best way to go about finding, oh, a Final Fantasy RPG or sci-fi RP or anything along those lines? I'm lost and desperate, help would be appreciated.

...there are a few roles available in Utena2, right here in River City! I mean, IRG! The game has been quiet lately, but it's been quiet before, and some new blood is probably just what we need. At the moment, Kozue, Shiori, and probably Tatsuya are all available. Maybe Keiko and Juri too, I haven't heard from Hollow_Rose in a while... KTK is in charge of that one, so contact her if you want to join!

Sadly, I can't help you at all with LJ RPs, I've never done those. emot-confused

I haven't don't LJ RP's either, but my understanding is you find a community there which has what you're looking for and make an account specfically for your character. You then use that account to post in the comments section of entries to RP with other people, or make your own entry to start a new thread of RP. But of course every comm will have its own rules and regulations, so it's best simply to read those and follow what other people are doing for each one.

As to finding a comm in the first place, all I can think of is using the LJ search function and wade through the lists...
