Re: Deep Thought

Okay, okay! I'll throw you folks a Douglas Adams quote:

What was it the man said about California?

The place where all the misfits of the world congregate, under the assumption that since they were going to be miserable anyway, they might as well be warm.

There. Happy now, people? emot-tongue

Re: Deep Thought

Why is it that whenever you view a documentary on Ancient Roman times the people speak with such fine British Accents? Wouldn't they be speaking some sort of Spanish/Italian mix with subtitles instead?

Re: Deep Thought

They'd be speaking Latin. emot-mad Since English accents are about as close as you're going to get in this language to the same kind of tone of authority that Latin kinda innately has, it seems pretty normal to me for all the actors to have English accents. emot-keke

That said I'd fap maniacally if they ever did do one in straight Latin. That language sounds just so deliciously powerful.

Akio, you have nice turns of phrase, but your points aren't clear and you have no textual support. I can't give this a passing grade.

How about the documentary film of quantum physics? I don't think the atoms were designed to be arousing. Although we ARE made of atoms... okay nevermind, all the colliding and rubbing...

What about films on endangered species like dolphins or penguins

Re: Deep Thought

Yeah. You are.

Like it matters, tho? Personally, I think it's hot that we could make all the sweet lovin' that's alluded to in IFD, and then discuss NOVA while drinking a fine vintage.

Wow, I'm starting to get worked up.

Hmm, here's something, censorship. Why bother censoring something when all it does is draw attention to the very thing that you don't want to receive attention? emot-confused

To Mocha: The nail polish probably has developed immunity against the remover like cockroach against bug spray.

To dollface: Possibly the same reason why there would be people who constantly misuse the word "Innuendo"
"I see a bird in-nu-en-do!" <-I get that joke a lot down south... -_-

Why would there be scientists proposing that hair and pinky be obsolete centuries from now?

I wouldn't say wooden furniture is necessarily "brown".

I like it, it reminds me of chocolate which is less unnerving than the other, NON-chocolaty colors.

You know which colour I want to see?

The tan M&Ms. The blue ones backstabbed the tan ones! It's not fair! It's not right! Mars/M&M can make a million and one different colours (for special occasions, I think there are actually 23 or so colours) but they can't resurrect the tan ones? emot-confused
