Oh my LORD. The DVD cases are enough to make me weep from jealousy, but all of the rough artwork inside the booklet have me sold. I think I need to get this. My poor wallet.

I had a request for some quality scans of the DVD cases, so there they are. If people want, I could probably put the master scans up on sendspace or something. These were scanned to masters at 600 dpi and then cropped to 1000 x 700ish size.

Case 3

I didn't even notice the rose patterns in the colored parts until I pulled them out again for the scanning. emot-redface

Edit: corrected a bizarre typo. "If people one..."??

Well, the first set does cover the first 24 episodes (doesn't that cover at least the first part of Ruka's appearances?) I'm assuming the final disc will feature Akio in some way.

Mylene - how are the episodes themselves? Better sound, better color? Can you notice anything at all in the remastering process?

I bought the remastered OST school-eng101
It's wonderful, but the bonus cd it's terrible! I don't like the remixes at all.

Mylene, is it possible I could get those fullsize raws? I'd love to be able to put these on the gallery and the fullsize ones would be easier to clean up to the level of what's already on there. (Same for all these scans folks! GIMMIE I LIKE 'EM BIG)

Finally remembered to preorder the second DVD box. I kept planning to, and then forgot it for a week. Thankfully between my coupons and frequent shopper points I was able to just pay $2 for EMS shipping. ^_-

Seriously, I find it very hard to believe Ruka would make it to a DVD cover and Wakaba would get ignored. Oh, and of course Akio's going to make it to a cover.

Someone, please license this series again! I mean, we have Evangelion remastered and re-released. And SKU is out of stock everywhere so you can't buy it even if you wanted to (kind of proves that people did like it enough to spend money on it) which also means people would buy the remastered release if it got licensed.

Can we make a petition or something and pass it on to some licensing companies?
