This is a static copy of In the Rose Garden, which existed as the center of the western Utena fandom for years. Enjoy. :)

Re: World of Warcraft

But oh, who cares.  Aesthetically, I think the build of Blood Elves is closer to the look of the Utena characters than any other race, so I'm prepared to go Horde and have a troupe of Utena Blood Elves running about.  Shall we pick a server and get started?

Re: World of Warcraft

I'll call Juri.

Which server would everyone recommend?  Ideally, I'd like one that isn't too populated so we'd have a better chance of snagging the actual character names.

EDIT: Tentatively staking out Maiev for now.

Re: World of Warcraft

I call Touga because I already made a char.

I'm surprised the name was open on Kargath.

Re: World of Warcraft

Eh, Utena is way less popular than it should be. I should buy BC just so that I can make Akio.

Re: World of Warcraft

I don't play WoW, but I had an interesting tidbit to throw in-- my philosophy prof made a character that looks like me. It's a damn dwarf emot-mad

I don't know what I'm more mad about, the fact that his son was the one who noticed the character looked like me, or the fact that it's a damn dwarf emot-mad

Fake edit: I'm not really mad.

A dwarf? Really? You strike me as more the blood elf type...

I play Alliance on Bronzebeard, as well as occasionally on Black Dragonflight.  Healer by trade.

Re: World of Warcraft

I play on an Oceanic server (naturally) - Aman'thal to be exact.
I admit the shameful truth that I am *coff coff* Alliance *coff*. But there's nobody to talk to on hoarde side! *whines*

*commences fangirl rambling*
My main toon (lvl 80) is a nelf guy. I just love playing guys. I picked him (no really) cos he is cut. CUT! *drool*
He's a druid (my fave class in all games, cos of shapeshifting. I just sooo get into shapeshifting...)
I've just switched to main spec boomkin (because my guild already has a feral and I want to raid more) and
secondary spec bear (which is what I've always been. Yes, cos it's cute school-devil)

My lovely alts include a male draeni hunter (beastmaster), a female draeni shammy (ele/resto), a female dwarf dk (well who doesn't have them /sigh. unholy at mome but will be tank), and 2 delicious bank alts. Oh, and I shouldn't forget my solitary lvl 8 male warlock undead. He's so ugly I can barely bear to look at him. But one feels that rolling belf would be a cop out...considering they're half of the hoarde population...
*desists from fangirl rambling*

Sou, and Megu, my sister and I (we play together) have been talking about joining an rp server to start up new hoarde toons. If we could all decide on the server, maybe we could meet there and start our own guild just for fun. Then any other WoW players from here could come join us. I do like the Utena roleplay idea. Did that ever get done, does anyone know?

Re: World of Warcraft

All the cool kids (Yasha and myself) play Everquest 2! emot-mad

I should make a thread about the adventures of my dark elf coercer. Ohtori Akio.

Akio, you have nice turns of phrase, but your points aren't clear and you have no textual support. I can't give this a passing grade.

You and your freakin' EQ, Gio. But it's okay, I haven't logged into Warcrack since... um... well, since a while ago.

Re: World of Warcraft

Gio, what server do you guys play on? Does EQ2 have realms and such?
It's been years since I played EQ...but I loved it. I really should give it a bash again.

Re: World of Warcraft

It's servers yeah. I'm on Antonia Bayle, the RP server. (Not a lot of RP, it's just the busiest server.)

Re: World of Warcraft

Did this ever go anywhere?  With Cataclysm impending, I've been playing WoW again, and an ITRG guild sounds like fun.
