okCupid's Dating Persona Test

...oh, yeah, this sort of shit had to happen sometime. emot-biggrin Let's all do the test and see who matches up best with who, for chuckles! I just find it interesting that the previous two times I've done this in the last four or five years, I've been Half-Cocked. Today, however...

...I'm The Wild Rose, which I didn't quite expect. (Heh, I've got that Nick Cave song, Where The Wild Roses Grow, stuck in my head now...) How odd. But yes! Come on, people! We've got to have a few Genghis Khunts around here! school-devil  Go here and let us know if it's YOU!

It takes forty-seven New Zealanders eight months to make just one batch of 42 Below Vodka. ...luckily, that leaves one of us free to be Prime Minister.

That was interesting.  I am The Maid of Honor

"CONSIDER: The Gentleman (DGLM), someone just like you."

Who wants to bet Paradox is "The Gentleman?"  Not that he would take the test...heck, I don't think he even looks in IFD at all.

Mine was pretty inaccurate. I got The Sonnet. It's correct that I'm picky, but I'm definitely not romantic and two much romance makes me barf..  And I don't like babies. \:

The Wild Rose looks awesome, though. emot-rofl I like the part about making them bleed.

Your link isn't going to work.  What you want to do is take the letters you were given, and exchange them for the letters in my URL or Clarice's.  At least, that's the only way I could figure out how to get it to link to the results rather than just to the quiz itself.

Edit: Or look at the "Share your results" part. *smacks head* I totally looked over that part too.

I'm the Wild Rose.

Nowhere in that description does it ever say that this is the type who trolls OKcupid and pasts people's private love declarations to her friends.

Hinotori made this post, and then went back and changed it later. Such is life.

The Boy Next Door!

It's a cool test but the questions are a bit too black and white.

I was hoping I would be something more interesting that just The Boy Next Door thou.

Re: okCupid's Dating Persona Test

The Window Shopper
Random Gentle Love Dreamer (RGLD)

Loving, hopeful, open. Likely to carry on an romance from afar. You are The Window Shopper.

You take love as opportunities come, which can lead to a high-anxiety, but high-flying romantic life. You're a genuinely sweet person, not saccharine at all, so it's likely that the relationships you have had and will have will be happy ones. You've had a fair amount of love experience for your age, and there'll be much more to come.

Part of why we know this is that, of all female types, you are the most prone to sudden, ferocious crushes. Your results indicate that you're especially capable of obsessing over a guy you just met. Obviously, passion like this makes for an intense existence. It can also make for soul-destroying letdowns.

Your ideal match is someone who'll love you back with equal fire, and someone you've grown to love slowly. A self-involved or pessimistic man is especially bad. Though you're drawn to them, avoid artists at all costs.

BEWARE: The Hornivore (RBSM)

CONSIDER: The Gentleman (DGLM), The Loverboy (RGLM), The Boy Next Door (RGLD)

I wish it would say what kind of GIRLS I'd be good with.  emot-frown

Oh well.

EDIT: Hey Tamago.. it looks like you and I are perfect matches... oooooooh....

Re: okCupid's Dating Persona Test

I love OKC. Back when they used to run TheSpark, I was a member of Pimpin' Cupid, which was so much fun.

I'm The Maid Of Honor, by the way, although when I first took the test, I was The Priss.

I assumed if you picked Gay at the start of the test it would give those results? I don't know for sure.

I'm the manchild, but I lied a few times. emot-rolleyes

Test: You MUST be 18.

Me: Well, ok, if I have to be I'll say that I was born in 1988...

I also declined to answer some of the questions which I found particularly stupid.

OKCupid says they'd prefer if I didn't use their services. emot-tongue

When I first saw the Hornivore, the thing that came to mind was Hannibal Lector overdosing on Viagra, either that or the male equivient of  The Nymph.

And the being caught by your parents question, the only reason I chose my father was that he was dead!
