Re: so whatcha listenin' to?

Giving the three new songs from Nine Inch Nails a spin.

Y'know, after being a huge fan for upwards of ten years, I moved on after the Wave Goodbye tour in 2009 (you're putting the band on hiatus and getting married? Great! I'm moving to Honolulu and starting grad school; hail and farewell, sir). So even though the band is back, the magic just isn't there for me anymore.

EDIT: Okay, seriously, after so many years without a music video, this is the best you can do? Really? The Pretty Hate Machine-era music videos were more compelling. (Please note the epilepsy warning at the beginning.)

Manu Chao's Me Gustas Tu is just rolling around my brain having a little happy-fight with Alan Jackson's Walking the Floor Over Me. My in-brain DJ is a bit weird.

Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen (SNES) -- Santa's Coming (White Storm)

I've been listening to this game's music for the last three days, simply because I finally found properly-timed rips for another song, one I'd fallen in love with. This song's nice, too; it plays in the snow stages. emot-keke

Now with elegant and finely-crafted link!

w00t! I actually really like videogame music, so that's awesome in my books!

I'm feeling a bit down, and your videogame music reminded me of the videogame music that always makes me feel secure and happy. So I'm gonna listen to it.

Re: so whatcha listenin' to?

Couldn't find an appropriate thread to put this in; this one was the most appropriate.

A friend of mine asked me to spread the word about her Youtube channel, to share her music with everybody. She's a good musician, and I recommend her music, especially to us anime fans. If you have a chance, please visit her channel and if you like her music too, let her know. emot-keke

(I recommend the song "Journey Across the Clouds," personally. emot-keke )

NOTE TO MODS: If this isn't the right place, please notify me and I shall relocate it to whichever thread you deem is more appropriate.

Bio, I wish I could access youtube. Anywhere else to give a listen?

Anyhow, self-plug but honestly what I'm listening to. I wrote this for a couple musicians here in town, but they passed, and now I can't get it out of my head.

I...don't think so. I'm unsure if you can watch embedded YouTube videos from within here, but if you can I'll embed one of them.

My alternate method is using my YouTube-downloading program to rip all the files and send them to you, or possibly host them on my Google Drive or somesuch. Just give me the word, and I can get on it~ emot-keke

Must be Santa and the rest of Dylan's Christmas in the Heart album. Christmas Songs would be the best thing Christianity ever brought us, but most of the really good contemporary ones are written (and/or performed best) by Jews and other non-Christians. Truth.

Hey, did you ever get the feeling that it's really a joke?
You think you've got it figured out
And then you find that you don't?
So you say goodbye to the world
And now you're floating in space?

You got no sense of nothing not even a time or a place?
Then suddenly you hear it, it's the beat of your heart
And for the first time in your life
You know your life is about to start?
Oh, yeah, bring it on

^ One of the greatest music injustices in the last 10-15 years is that because of her legal troubles with her record label (Seriously fuck you record labels) is that we don't have any new Poe. I mean there was something a while back floating around but nothing to satiate her absence.
