Wakaba... Evil Mastermind?
Alright, this is complete crack, but what in Utena isn't? Run with me here for a moment.
Wakaba-- overly hyper and naive schoolgirl, or real evil mastermind of the show? Consider the following:
(1) Wakaba takes it upon herself to befriend Utena from the beginning, their relationship makes that obvious, and is with Utena constantly.
(2) Wakaba is a goldmine of information throughout the show. Utena's got a question? Wakaba's got an answer! (Recall the first episode, for example, when Wakaba explains who half the student council is to Utena.)
(3) It is because of Wakaba that Utena got involved in the duels in the first place. Who's to say that Wakaba herself didn't hang up the love letter to Saionji? Who knows how much foresight she has-- especially if she's working with Akio.
(4) Wakaba is consistantly trying to kill, or at least rattle, Utena (see every time Wakaba glomps Utena, especially while leaning out a window).
(5) Wakaba is the only duelist Utena ever faces in which Utena actually refuses to draw her draw against.
(6) Wakaba is always making lunch for Utena... mmm, it'd be easy to slip something in there, eh?
(7) When Utena stops dueling after her first duel with Touga, it's because of Wakaba that she gets her spirit back.

But Akio is already manipulating Anthy. See, Wakaba lures Utena into duelling for the first time, bringing her closer to Anthy, therefore closer to Akio. In exchange for bringing Utena to him, Akio slips Wakaba some of that dark meat

Not necessarily. Anthy's manipulative enough herself, in addition to already being manipulated by Akio that she'd be more likely to see it for what it is. Utena, being incredibly naive would be much easier to fuck with without being detected.

Wakaba being manipulative. Her ultimate purpose is to feel special and unique like Utena, Anthy, and the Student Council Members. But, I think her manipulation only go so far as what NANA's Hachiko will go. Typical school-girl style.
Besides, she level of manipulation is not good enough for her to be a Rose Bride like Kozue or Shiori, which is a fucking shame because I want to see her in her own Rose Bride dress

Yup... Wakaba is definitely green. Whether the frills should be red or pink is debatable, but both can be valid use of color scheme for Wakaba. if she has red, it can represent her hidden passion. If she has pink, it can represent her hidden "nobility" due to influence by Utena, or the compatibility with our renowned Otoko-onna 
.
For those who support that Wakaba is "evil", I'd think the red would reinforce that idea. Though, usually, I imagine her to have a more tea-ish green instead of the green itself.

Unfortunately for Shinohara, sometimes I think that Akio actually garnered more pleasure from -not- indulging her sexually, one of the few if not only characters he does so with. Sure, he needs nothing from her, but come on, he looks so happy that she's not getting any.

Hmmmmm she did cause Utena to become a duelist. So she was responsible for Utena's change in character when she lost to Touga. Then, she pretended to be the good guy and try to "change" her back.........interesting data......okay i'm bored
