Re: [semi-RP] The Burnt Poptart Seminar

(Well, most of the duels just require each duelist submitting something, and then the poptart bride and Ends of the poptart judging them and coming to a decision.. so I guess they don't have to be on at the same time. But what kind of duel?)

(I certainly don't. If I did I'd be preparing myself. Have we even agreed on who's going to set the rules?)

(Whatever it is, maybe we should do something other than SKUpidity? It's impossible to beat Hyacinth at that, so it wouldn't really be fair to Shattered.)

Re: [semi-RP] The Burnt Poptart Seminar

(I always kind of figured that SleepDept-senpai should be the one to decide what the next duel is. In SKU, the duels in the Black Rose Saga duels aren't created by Ends of the World. It's under completely different rules written by Mikage, isn't it? So perhaps you should be the one to decide.)

Re: [semi-RP] The Burnt Poptart Seminar

(
Bio said this about that a few pages back in the forest:

BioKraze wrote:

If memory serves me right, I make the rules...under normal circumstances. But this...Burnt Poptart Duellist...will prove to be a special scenario. In this circumstance, I believe it prudent for me to dictate the rules of the next "classic" duel, and allow Ends to dictate the rules of Burnt Poptart Duels.

Which kinda sucks for me, because I really didn't want another SKUpidity duel...I had something more intellectual in mind...

So, uhm.. hmm.. Well, if it's okay with everyone, I don't mind deciding. Although, I think we should come up with more organized rules about deciding duels eventually. emot-biggrin  )

Re: [semi-RP] The Burnt Poptart Seminar

( Well, okay. emot-aaa

What about SKU haiku, then? I guess the only rules would be the standard 5-7-5 syllable rule for haikus and that it must involve something SKU.. and poptarts? emot-keke Or maybe just one? )

Re: [semi-RP] The Burnt Poptart Seminar

( you can pick the subject..you can be broad like SKU in general or you can be specific like... uh...the Poptart's filling. )

Re: [semi-RP] The Burnt Poptart Seminar

(Okay. What about haikus in which you compare a SKU character's hair colour to the filling of a poptart? emot-biggrin  I hope that's not too hard.

Shattered could write his now and post it in the forest (if he wants to now, anyway) and Hya could post hers later, and then the poptart bride and ends of the poptart could judge. I think it would be too biased if the poptart Mikage judges.)

Re: [semi-RP] The Burnt Poptart Seminar

(On second thought, a challenge that specific might take out a lot of creative liberties. Okay, so how about just a haiku involving SKU and/or poptarts?)

That sounds good. But what will we be judging it on? Should it be funny, or serious?

Re: [semi-RP] The Burnt Poptart Seminar

(Uh..

Well, I guess it depends on how they write it. One duelist might write something funny while another writes something pretty. Creativity is also a big factor.. But I'm not a judge, so I don't really know. emot-gonk Should it be restricted to either funny or serious haikus? )

Re: [semi-RP] The Burnt Poptart Seminar

(That would make it easier for us to know what to look for when judging, but I think that we should leave it up to them.

Maybe we should send a PM to Hyacinth-sama about all of this.)

Re: [semi-RP] The Burnt Poptart Seminar

It's four in the morning, but I felt like making this:
http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w96/RazaraNi/Deeper1.jpg
Originally, I wanted to do all the stages. The first would be a Pop-tart box, the individual package, the Pop-tart, and then the crumbs. But it's late, and I only know how to use MS Paint.

Re: [semi-RP] The Burnt Poptart Seminar

*That damned Ghostly Voice echoes a third time...*

(Ah, but you forget, it was the hand of Ends that manipulated the imaginary living body. In essence, Ends knew every aspect of the Black Rose Circle, but "allowed" Souji to guide the new Duellists...)

*A pause as the Ghostly Voice collects it thoughts...*

(But perhaps a twist on haiku...choose an image and devise a haiku based upon the chosen image...And place pictures of Jhonen Vasquez on the desks...they will be sure to disarm the Champion sufficiently...)

*As usual, the damned Ghostly Voice fades away...*
