Simply Irresistible - Robert Palmer

I have considerable weakness for Palmer (and Palmer music videos, for that matter). Dude always looked like a teenager trying to be all adult and professional to get taken seriously, and that makes sense, considering he was a rocker from his teens til death.

As for what I'm listening to, I've had Imogen Heap's songs on repeat for going on two weeks now.

Peel's brilliant. You can see why John Lennon took to being his unofficial promoter.

Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor not only sounds a lot better really fucking loud, but once you can discern the lyrics, the plot actually hangs together pretty good (and the Ken Russell/John Carpenter flavored Lords of Salem flick kinda makes me eager to see Zombie do it as a flat out musical odyssey).

I was gonna be all hipster and say I'm listening to Divine Fits (which I am; check 'em out if you like Spoon and/or Wolf Parade)...

But let's be real here. I blame my DDR habit.

Breath of Fire IV (PSX) -- Brave Heart

I've never played the game, but I'm on a Breath of Fire OST kick right now. Apparently, this is the OP theme. Very inspiring, very suggestive of epic adventure waiting.

Now with elegant and finely-crafted link! emot-dance

Culture Beat: Mr. Vain (Intense Radio Edit)

I like this version better than the original. This song is kind of special to me because I would secretly fant-er, think about my first anime crush whenever I heard it.

Zombina's Love Droid.

"I am looking for someone sexually automatic. Someone I can switch on when I want to get nymphomatic."

The lyrics to that song stay in my head a little too much.

Re: so whatcha listenin' to?

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest (SNES) -- Hot-Head Bop

The song that plays during any and all volcano/lava-themed levels. ALL OF THEM. Which is...pretty much everything in the "Crocodile Cauldron" zone (the first Wake-Up Call zone, in terms of level difficulty for anybody who isn't used to this franchise's older installments. I'd cite K. Rool's Keep as the next Wake-Up Call). Only one other level outside of this zone plays it, and it's a Lost World zone level.

Music's prettyful, though. I highly encourage anybody who can find it to either pick up the OST or save a Youtube link, even if the game itself isn't their cup of cantarella.

Now with elegant and finely-crafted link!
