Final Fantasy VIII (PSX) -- Balamb Garden

Mainly because too much shit's been goin' down and I need to be comfortably numb. This music will do it.

Re: so whatcha listenin' to?

Somebody That I Used to Know by Gotye. Micah's been working on arranging a cover for the acoustic duo he's working in, and so we've listened to it a lot lately.

It's a little hard to listen to because parts of it make me incredibly sad, as it feels so applicable to the dissolution of a close friendship I once had. But as Gotye himself says, "you can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness..."

The first time you looked at her curves you were hooked
And the glances you took, took hold of you and demanded that you stay
And sunk in their teeth, bit your heart and released
Such a charge that you need another touch, another taste, another fix

Mega Man Zero III (GBA) -- Water City (Maritime Highway: Chilldre Inarabbita)

An oddly haunting, but beautiful, piece. Makes me think of a more melancholy imaging of Sonic 2's "Aquatic Ruin Zone" theme.

Nothing to say, really. I believe this is the JP soundtrack's name for the song. EN will prolly be different.

It wasn't until sharing music with my nieces that I realized who many dirty dirty DDR songs there are.

I seem to easily forget how geeky MP are. And how lyrically smooth and fucked up they can get.
